Leads and clients are the main people records in Agent Book CRM.
Use a lead when someone is still a prospect. Use a client when someone is already being serviced by your agency or has moved beyond the prospect stage.
Add a lead or client from the topbar #
- Open Agent Book CRM.
- In the topbar, click Create.
- Select New Lead or New Client.
- Enter the person’s basic information.
- Add contact details such as phone, email, and address.
- Save the record.
Add a new lead #
Use New Lead when the person is a prospect.
A lead can be used to track:
- Contact information
- Lead status
- Lead source
- Notes
- Tasks and follow-ups
- Opportunities
- Documents
After a lead becomes an active client, you can convert or move the record into your client workflow.
Add a new client #
Use New Client when the person is already being serviced by your agency.
A client record can store:
- Contact information
- Policy details
- Opportunities
- Notes
- Tasks and follow-ups
- Documents
- Record history
Add policy information to a client #
After the client is created, open the client profile and use the Policies section to add coverage details.
Policy details can include:
- Carrier
- Plan name
- Plan ID
- Policy number
- Enrollment code
- Premium
- Application date
- Effective date
- Status
Add opportunities #
Use opportunities to track pending applications, quotes, and potential policies before they become active policies.
Add tasks and follow-ups #
Use tasks to track follow-ups, appointments, reminders, and next steps.
Add documents #
Use the Documents section to upload files related to the lead or client, such as applications, forms, notes, or supporting documents.
